Happy first day of November to you, crafty friends. Melissa B here! Today I will be sharing a shaker card with you using the Beautiful Life stamp set.
To begin, I trimmed a piece of white card-stock to measure 4.25 x 5.5. Using a circle die, (I used my old Spellbinders Nestabilities circle dies today) I die cut a circle out of the center of my card-stock. Next, I stamped the small outlined heart in five different colors to cover the front. I then used one of the confetti images and stamped that in black.
There are a few different ways you can create a shaker card and I normally use foam, but for today I chose to do more die-cutting to create my window. I used the two dies you see above, placing the smaller one inside the larger and then running it through my die machine with a piece of white card-stock. I did this five times and then adhered them all together. I also die-cut a piece of clear acetate and attached that to the back of my stamped card-stock to create my window. Next came my layered circles…those were adhered over the back of the acetate and then the sparkly Diamonds were added inside.
After my card was all together, I die cut a hot pink circle and added it to the front, along with a black button!
I hope you enjoyed. Have a fabulous day!
