Just My Type
Hello Everyone and Happy Wednesday!! I’m back to share another card!! Last week I received some fabulous goodies from HoneyBee and among them was the Just My Type mini stamp set and Co-Ordinating Dies!! This is the cutest little typewriter…ever!!!
I started by colouring the typewriter and little hearts with my alcohol markers, sticking with a grey and red theme. What’s cool about this set is that the paper coming out from the typewriter is big enough for you to write a little message. But since I have terrible handwriting, I decided to stamp my own sentiment using one of the best alpha sets out there (in my opinion), the Brush Grunge Alpha Set. This set gives both upper and lower case letters plus punctuation and other little images!!
I stamped “just my type” in Smoke Ink onto a die cut panel.
I played with the layout for awhile. This always takes me the longest. Whenever I make a card, my plan changes AT LEAST 4 or 5 times, hahaha! I had a scrap of red cardstock and a die cut, stenciled circle from a previous project, so I decided to use those.
In the end, I actually used a piece of patterned paper from an old Valentine paper pad by Pink Paislee to mat my sentiment panel on. I trimmed down the red cardstock to approximately 1/4 inch and adhered that to the white panel as well. I foam mounted the circle and typewriter over top of the red strip.
And finally, some Sakura Sparkle Pen, Glossy Accents and a few red sequins to finish it off!!
Thank you so much for visiting today!! I hope you found a bit of inspiration today 🙂
