Hi friends! Leanne here with you. I’m sharing a card today that features the beautiful Cosmos stamp set. I thought I’d try some no line coloring with this one and I’m very happy with results.
I started by stamping the images in a very light ink. I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a water brush to watercolor the flowers and leaves. I used three shades of pink on the flower petals and two shades of green on the stem and leaves to get a little variation and depth. After the watercolor was dry, I used a white gel pen to add some highlight details. With the coordinating Cosmos Honey Cuts, I cut out all the images.
I wanted a Kraft card stock background, but instead of leaving it plain, I used the Hexagon Cover Plate Stipple Honey Cuts and some white pigment ink to add pattern. I inked the cover plate before running it through my die cut machine. This will impress the white ink into the card stock and gives it a subtle pattern. For the sentiment, I used the Because stamp set and coordinating Because Honey Cuts. Lastly I embellished the panel with a scattering of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Gloss White. I added the completed panel to a white A2 sized card base.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a wonderful day!
