Hello Honey Bee friends!!! Are you ready for the next gorgeous release by Honey Bee? The Cottage Countryside release is available now! I’ve used the Ornate Ginger Jar red rubber stamp set, the Antique Layering Frames Honey Cuts, and the Cottage Countryside paper pad!

There are three beautiful ginger jars in the Ornate Ginger Jar stamp set and I used all three! I stamped each one with the same technique. Using dark, medium, and light shades of blue, green, and yellow inks, I stamped the darker ink just around the edges of the stamp. I stamped that, then inked up a wider margin along the edges of the stamp with the medium ink and stamped it. I finished up by stamping the lightest shade of ink. Repeat any of the shades, if needed. (Note: You will need a stamp positioning tool for this technique.)
When I finished stamping and die cutting the jars with the coordinating Ornate Ginger Jar Honey Cuts, I thought they were really pretty, but felt something was missing. It was dimension! I remedied this by using my C3, C2, C0, and C00 Copic markers and coloring just around the edges. It’s amazing what just a bit of dimension will do!
Next I cut the jars out with the coordinating Ornate Ginger Jar Honey Cuts.

I die cut a piece of paper from the gorgeous Cottage Countryside paper pad with the largest Antique Layering Frames die. I die cut one more large frame from white cardstock and glued the two together. I did this to create a stronger piece to be able to tie some ribbon around the die cut. I die cut the corner die four times (Antique Layering Frames) and popped them up with foam. I adhered the corners slightly offset to allow a peak of the blue paper in the corners to show.
After I tied the seam binding ribbon around the die cut, I added thin foam tape strips to the back to adhere it to my A2 card base.

I die cut more white cardstock with the oval Antique Layering Frames die and used foam tape to adhere it to the card. Then I adhered the Ornate Ginger Jars with glue and foam tape. The sentiment is one of three included in the same set. I die cut the stamped sentiment with the coordinating die. I die cut white cardstock three times with the die to layer behind the stamped sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed my sneak peak of the awesome Cottage Countryside release and have been inspired by my card. Thanks so very much for stopping by!!
