Joyous Christmas Shaker Globe
Hi there lovely peeps! How are you doing? Vera here for your weekly Thursday Honey Bee inspiration. Today, I made a soft color shaker card to share with you all using the fantastic Globe & Ornament Shaker card dies.
To start I die-cut the globe opening and the back side of the globe. For the back side I die cut it out of watercolor cardstock, so I can do quick watercoloring background. Lately I’ve been so out of crafting time, so quick and fast is key for me. Once that done, I die cut another piece from a piece of acetate and stamp it with sentiment from Season’s Tweetings set. I heat embossed the sentiment with super fine embossing powder.
Adhere the globe back side directly to the card base and carefully sprinkle some sequin mix. I mixed Ocean Shell mix, Clear Irish mix, Snowdrift Confetti and Lagoon Tiny Bubbles. Once I am happy with my mix, I carefully adhere the top part of the globe.
Then I finish by adhering the base of the globe. And, using Copic I added some shadow to it. Gahhh, I just love making shaker card. I love the sound of it and the fact you can just shake it and thing will move around. Hah! What kind of card do you like to make? Curious mind likes to know. 🙂
Well peeps, that’s all from me today. Quick, short and sweet. Hope you enjoy today’s post and thank you so much for stopping by here.
