Hello and happy Wednesday, everyone!! Today I’m sharing a card that can be used for many different celebratory occasions. It can also be used for a girl or boy, no hearts or flowers but subtle sparkle!
I started by stamping the Hooray sentiment from the new Hooray Stamp Set in ombre fashion. Yes, I am addicted to stamping this way! I die cut the word using the Hooray Honey Cuts. Now, I have to be honest, the die cuts on this card are actually from my ever growing pile of unused stuff. Do you have that pile? Things you thought you’d use on a project, then didn’t? I used a tag die to ground my sentiment but first I added some stamping. I used the tiny ray from the Celebration Box stamp set to create a little half circle of beams…also in ombre inking style 🙂
I adhered a scalloped die cut under the blue rays and foam mounted the Hooray die. I stamped the retainer of the sentiment under the scallop. Before adhering the tag to the card, I used a variety of the confetti and streamer stamps, also from Celebration Box on the front of my cardbase in a similar ink colour for a tone on tone effect. I added a bit of ribbon to the tag and foam mounted it.
As you can see, I used some sparkle pen and a ton of Glossy Accents on the Hooray. I also added sparkle to some of the background stamping and the rays.
And there you have it! A celebratory card for girl or boy that can be used for a lot of different occasions!
Thanks for taking the time to visit today!! See you later!
