Happy Tuesday all!! I have a card to share today that I made for my best friend’s birthday! I have two golden retrievers and she has four dogs, but her baby is a Victorian Bulldog named Weatherly.

I stamped a couple of pups from the Puppy Love stamp set with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink onto white cardstock and colored them with Copics. I used a photo of Weatherly as reference for the dog with the heart. Both of the pups were cut with the Coordinating Honey Cuts. I used the largest of the Scallop A2 Card Frames Honey Cuts to die-cut the background from white cardstock. One of the Friends Furever Stencils was used with Moonstone Nuvo Glimmer Paste. The hearts were cut from two shades of pink cardstock with the Stacking Hearts and Scallop Hearts Honey Cuts and adhered onto the background panel with foam tape, once the background was dry. The greeting, from Friends Furever, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with a Coordinating Honey Cut. The die-cut pups and greeting were adhered to the hearts with foam adhesive. I added some shimmer to the heart in the dog’s mouth with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen. Lastly, Nuvo Crystal Glaze adds some shine to the heart, eyes, noses and tongue.

As soon as I saw this Puppy Love set, this idea popped into my head! She will probably see this before I get to give it to her, but I hope she likes it!! We are both CRAZY about our dogs, so I think she will!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

I’ll see you next Tuesday!!
