I Love You, Mom

Good Monday morning to you! Melissa B here today. The last week has been so amazing, hasn’t it? I’m so smitten with all of the wonderful new products. Today, I’ll be featuring two sets … Spring Blossoms with the Spring Blossoms Honey Cuts + Best Parents with Best Parents Honey Cuts. I thought I’d get a head start on creating a card for my Mom for Mother’s Day and these two sets were just perfect for what I wanted to create.

I wanted to keep my card pretty clean and simple … lots of white with pops of yellow (her favorite color) and turquoise. I started with a white card base and then used the new Double Stitched Circle Honey Cuts and Stitched Scallop Circles Honey Cuts to create a base for my sentiment and flowers. I die-cut ‘Mom’ and attached that to my circle. I then stamped ‘I love you’ on a strip of white cardstock and popped it up with dimensional foam.

My flowers and leaves were heat embossed with white embossing powder and then colored in with watercolors. I arranged them around my sentiment before attaching a few sequins from the Mermaid Brooch sequin pack to give it a little sparkle. I can’t wait to include this card with my Mom’s gift!
