Hello, Honey Bee friends!! Brenda back with you sharing a sweet pet sympathy card featuring a few sets from the latest Pet-Tastic Release!! It’s always nice to have a couple of these cards on hand!!
I started by stamping the adorable bulldog in the Tail Waggers Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I did some simple Copic coloring, then used the Coordinating Die to cut him out.
For the background, I die-cut a piece of free-bee patterned paper (you can find something similar in the Happy Hearts Paper Pad) with the largest die in the Scallop A2 Card Frames Die Set and adhered it to a piece of teal cardstock that was die-cut with the largest Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die with Bee Creative Glue. The two scalloped hearts in the Lace Heart Layering Frames Die Set were die-cut from vellum, then stacked and adhered together, adding Bee Creative Glue only in the center of the hearts. The bulldog was adhered to the hearts, also using Bee Creative Glue, then adhered to the card base.
The sentiment is a combination of the Great Greetings: Friend Honey Cuts and the Pet-Tastic Stamp Set. The top layer of “hugs” was cut once from teal cardstock and two times from heavyweight white cardstock. The shadow layer was cut twice from heavyweight white cardstock. The layers were stacked and adhered together using Bee Creative Glue, then added to the front of the card under the bulldog. The supporting sentiment, from the Pet-Tastic Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with pink dye ink, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape.
That’s it!! A really simple card to add to my stash for when I need it!!
