Hello Bee friends. I’m sharing an encouragement card today featuring new items from the Honey Bee Stamps, Sunkissed Summer release. I feel like lately I need a lot of these types of cards. A friend of mine just got some unfavorable health news. I hope this card lifts her spirits a bit.

I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

Anchor of Hope stamp set and coordinating Honey Cut dies

Bold Background: Plumeria – Honey Cut dies

Grab Your Passport Paper Pad 6X8.5 – 24 Double Sheets

Old Glory Pearl Stickers – 210 Count

The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I die cut the Bold Background: Plumeria – Honey Cut base and leaves from green cardstock. I cut the floral petals from white cardstock and attached them to the vine. I used Copic Sketch Markers in YG67, YG17 and YG03 on the leaves and attached them as well. The flowers were accented with light blues using B41, B21 and B60. I attached pearl gem stickers to the middles of the fully opened blossoms.

The anchor image was stamped in black ink and colored using the same Copics mentioned above. I also used warm grays to color the anchor – W6, W4, W3 and w2. I die cut the design using the coordinating dies. I added some roping to the anchor and attached foam tabs to the back.

To assembled the card, I attached a 5″ X 7″ piece of striped cardstock to the card front on the card base. I added the plumerias background, the anchor (attaching it with the foam tabs on the back) and glued the rope design in place using Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue. Lastly, I added the die cut verse from the Anchor of Hope stamp set, nestling it inside the plumeria leaves.
