Good morning!¬† I’m so happy to be back with another card for you, and today I’m trying to add to my celebration/birthday stash of cards with this fun layout. The Hooray die is one of my favorite things from the newest release. It has the outline of the word as well as the word itself which really highlights the sentiment.

I started by stamping out the box, balloons, and two tissue papers from the Celebration Box set. I colored all of them in with my Copics. The fun thing about these images is you can use any method to color them. Something I’d like to try next is paper piecing them! However, today I went with Copics. I cut out the box and die cut the balloons, tissue paper and and strings for the balloons. I used my craft knife to cut the box open so I could tuck the tissue paper in. Once everything was colored and cut I set them aside and cut down a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.

I used an ink blender and my Peacock Feathers to add a spotlight to the center of my card panel. I spritzed it with my Distress Sprayer and dabbed the water with a paper towel. I also die cut the Hooray die and colored in the letters with a Copic I had used for the tissue paper. I started attaching the images to my card panel with Tombow Mono glue. The box and tissue paper went on first and then I added the balloons with foam tape to give some dimension. I added some patterns to the tissue paper with my white gel pen at the last minute because I thought it could use a little interest.

I glue the Hooray on top of the box and added some Nuvo Crystal drops to random spots on the card. I also added Glossy Accents to the balloon. When everything was dry I glued the panel to a card base and my card was finished! I hope you enjoyed my project for today ūüôā I’m having a lot of fun playing with the new release products and they all go together so well, it makes it easy! I hope you all have a great Saturday! Thank you for stopping by!
