Hi everyone! Do you love masking technique? As for me, I love to use this technique as often as I can 🙂 Today I want to share with one more different way to creating card background with this technique.

Close up.

At first cut a rectangle from white cardstock. It will be you card background. Stamp randomly a jar from “Sweet as honey” stamp set. I used black ink from Memento, because I’m going to use my copic markers.

Stamp another jar on the asking paper or on the memo paper, cut few jars and cover the image on the card background.

Using honeycomb stamp and orange ink create a background. Don’t forget to cover all jars with masks.

You can stamp honeycomb randomly or stamp honeycomb close to each other to get continuous pattern.

Use orange copic marker or any other your favorite medium and draw “honey” inside of each jar.

Cut a circle from vellum and stamp the sentiment with black ink or you can make a black embossing, as I am. Glue circle to stamped background. I recomend to use few drops of transparent liquid glue on back side of the vellum to glue it to background, I added the glue behind the letters.

Glue stamped panel to card base. Add accents using tiny bee stamps and colorful sequins.

Have a great day!
