Ho Ho No
Hi peeps! Happy Thursday. Vera here. How have you been enjoying Honey Bee new releases? So many cuteness, right?
Well today, I have another project to share that’s also using one of the set from the new release. I love Christmas, but since I am so far way from my family who lives on the other side of the world, Christmas also often time when I feel blah because I get homesick, so this Blah Humbunny set totally capture how I sometime feel during the holiday season when I miss my family.
To start with, I first stamped and die cut the bunny. Then using the die cut bunny as my guide, I stamped the bunny image directly on the card panel twice.
Once that done, I added light color on the bunnies. Also, using an ink dauber I added some light blue shadow underneath the bunnies to create a base or floor if you might. Then I stamped the Santa’s hat, scarf and the present, colored and die cut them. For the Santa’s hat, I thought it be fun to add a bit more texture by using white liquid applique. I love watching how the texture emerge as you heat up the liquid applique. Adhere the middle bunny with pop-dots.
I then adhere the card panel to the card base and stamped the sentiment. I just had to go with Ho Ho No. 🙂 Finished by adding some Bokeh Lights Confetti mix. Pretty simple card, but still a fun one.
Well peeps, that’s all from me today. Don’t forget you still have time to join Honey Bee Season’s Tweeting blog hop. As you hop along, eave comment along the way. Honey Bee is giving away $50 gc to one lucky commenter. May your Thursday be a great one. Cheers….
