Hello friends! Angel here. Hope you are all having a great weekend and getting ready for Easter tomorrow! I’ve bought all the candy and treats for my boys. All of the Easter outfits are ready to go for church.
Before all of the family fun and Sunday dinners get going I wanted to share a fun water color card I created. I used the honey comb stamp in the Sweet as Honey set as my focal point.
I stamped the honey combs all going different directions using Versafine Black Onyx ink and then used clear embossing powder to give it a little pop. I used the Candied Apple, Blueprint Sketch and Squeezed Lemonade distress inks with a little water to color in each honey comb. In the beginning, some of the color started seeping out and I thought about starting over but I actually started to like how it looked. It gave a fun look to the card.
Once all of the colors were done, I stamped the word hi also using Versafine Black Onyx ink. I found matching sequins in my stash and glue them on their coordinating color honey comb. I adhered the white piece to a black card base in the upper left hand corner and then did a little faux stitching with a white gel pen.
I hope you’ve enjoyed what I’ve created for you today. I will be back next week with another card showing sneak peeks of brand new sets. Hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend.
