Hey there, Bee Friends. It’s Bobbi Lemanski here in full summer mode. I can’t wait for summer to be here. I decided to pull out a fun set that reminds me of a summer day. It’s called, Fineapple. While this set can be used all year through, there is something about a pineapple that says “summer fun” to me. 🙂 I am in love with this pineapple design so much that I used it five times on this slimline card! I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

Fineapple stamp and coordinating die sets

Slimline Thin Frames die set

This card measures 8-1/2″ X 3-1/2″ and offers plenty of room for these five beautifully “crowned” ladies! I stamped in Versamark and heat embossed in metallic gold the five lovelies on pink cardstock. I added some color to a few of them to make each one a little more unique. Some got pink shades in RV00, RV02, RV55, and RV09 coloring and some got golds with Y28, Y26, and Y19 Copic colors. Others were left simply pink. All of the crown sections were colored in using Y28, Y26, and Y19. I added white highlights using a white gel pen to each one.

For the background. I splattered the light pink cardstock front panel with black, metallic gold and pink watercolor using water and a fan-shaped watercolor brush. I also splattered on white ink using Dr. Ph. Martin’s Bleedproof White. Once the front panel dried, I added a thin metallic gold frame using the Slimline Thin Frames die set. I think metallic gold and pink look so fresh, feminine, and elegant together. To finish the front, I added al little clay flower like this mix or these rose flowers to each one.

Inside the card, I stamped three pineapple images using my gold ink pad. I also stamped the verse from the Fineapple stamp set in black and added some random black dots to tie the verse to the pineapples.
