This fall release is filled with so many sweet, adorable sets that I just love. The Hey Pumpkin set is no exception. I think this li’l girl with her cat is simply sweet & I sure enjoy playing with it. Coloring is a good therapy for me.
For my card, I started by die-cutting a piece of scrap paper using the Sunburst Cover Plate. I then use it as a mask and add the sunburst to my card base using an ink dauber. I varied the pressure on the sunburst as I want it to go from dark to light.
Once that done, I stamped the girl with the pumpkin image from Hey Pumpkin set directly on the card base with green ink. Then, stamped the image again on a piece of cardstock, this time with black ink and colored with Copic then I fussy cut the image (you could skip the fussy cut and use the matching dies, but for my card I want to trim it right on the image line). Luckily, I do enjoy fussy cutting when I have time. 🙂
I adhere the colored image with pop-dots over the the green stamped image. And, finished by stamping the sentiment and adding some sequins from the new sequin mix called Fall Equinox.
I hope you enjoy the scenery that I created here and guess what?? In just a few hours, midnight tonight, everything you’ve seen on the blog this week, will be available for purchase in the store! Yay! Hope you get your shopping list ready. Which sets are your favorite? I know I couldn’t choose just one. Well peeps, that’s all from me today and may your day be a blessed one. Cheers…
