Hexagons, hexagons, everywhere!
Good morning! Emily Midgett here with you today to share some pretty floral inspiration using some oldie-but-goodie products from Honey Bee. We’re gearing up for a big release in the next few weeks, so I thought I would pull out some older sets to play with for today’s post! Hexagons have been trendy for a few years, and when paired with flowers… such a pretty combination!
To start, I die cut one of the swags from Country Blooms (probably my all-time favorite Honey Bee set!) from some white card stock, then stamped it with Copic-friendly ink and colored it in with some lavender and peach Copic markers. Next, I die cut a pretty, shiny gold foil frame using the Hexagon Solid Stack Honey Cuts.
I used one of the Hexagon Layering Stencils to do some coral ink blending on a white A2 card base. I die cut a black Hello from the Hello Gorgeous word dies. After I had assembled all of the pieces, I arranged it all on my card front and popped everything up with dimensional foam adhesive. I added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze to a few different elements… the hello die cut, the centers of the flowers, etc… and added just a few Moonlight jewels here and there.
Well, that’s all for me today! I hope it’s nice and warm where you are…. we have a few flowers trying to bloom around here, because Spring is definitely taking it’s sweet time to arrive. Have a fabulous weekend!
