Happy Wednesday everyone!! How is your week so far?? Were you all able to pick up some of the new release? I hope so because it is un-BEE-lievable! I can’t stop playing with these amazing stamps and dies 🙂
Today, I used the brand spankin’ new Hexagon Solid Stack Honey Cuts and the Hugs Honey Cuts. This card was so fun to make and there is no stamping on it!! I started by die cutting a few different sizes of the hexagons out of watercolour paper. My ink palette today was super bright and cheerful! The colours I used were: Hayride, Wisteria, JellyBean, Scuba and Doll Pink. I did some quick and simple ink blending on each of the hexagons.
For the “hugs”, I die cut the largest layer, which has an awesome dotted detail, out of a light grey cardstock. The next layer was cut out of white cardstock and the hugs was cut from the same watercolour paper. I decided to do some ombre ink blending with the Scuba ink.
Isn’t that fabulous?? I LOVE this layered look! I die cut a white panel using a Stitched Rectangle Die and adhered all my hexagons into a somewhat random pattern. I used foam adhesive on all of them to give lots of dimension.
I adhered the white panel directly onto a grey cardbase to create an A2 top fold card. I adhered the “hugs” directly on top of the hexagons.
To finish the card off, I added three Clear Dew Drops and some Clear Wink of Stella to the Hugs. This card would surely brighten someones day!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today and make sure to stop by later today as the winner’s of the Birthday Bash Surprise Blog Hop will be announced!!!
