Hello everyone,

Today I have a sweet and simple card to share, using some images from the Curious Kitties stamp set, as well as some word stamps from the the hello gorgeous and hooray stamp sets.

I decided to start off with watercolour cardstock today, and use some decorative dies to cut an inverted scallop in the middle. Then I used some stitched circle dies to create a circular area, upon which i stamped this kitty and mouse image.

I coloured them in lightly with some watercolour paints, as I wanted a subtle colouring on this card. The real pop comes from the beautiful glitter paper layered behind the cardstock.

I also masked off an area so I could add a ground and wall with some distress inks.

For a rest of the card, I added some cute paw prints then added a greeting. First I stamped the word ‘hello’ using a subtle blue colour of ink, then stamped the ‘little one’ in black.

If I was making this card again, I think I would make sure the hello wasn’t cut off quite so much, as it overhung the edge a little too much for my liking, ┬ábut I think you can still tell what it says!

Thanks for stopping by to see today’s sweet and simple card.
