Hello there, Honey Bee friends! It’s Melissa B here with you on this Monday morning. I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Hard to believe how quickly summer is passing by and that we will soon be entering August! I’m trying to soak up all of this beautiful warm summer weather before the crisp fall air hits. I’m sure you are, too! 🙂
Let’s jump into my card for today, shall we? I decided to ink up the Feelin’ Foxy Stamp Set again and mix her with a few other Honey Bee products to create a sweet birthday card!
To begin, I started by die-cutting numerous hello’s using the Hello Honey Cuts, out of white card stock. After they were all cut, I attached them to the front of my white card base to create my background. Next, I moved onto Foxy. I stamped and die-cut her and then colored her in using the Copic markers in the photo below. I also stamped and die-cut one of the balloon images and a heart from Penny the Platypus Stamp Set and Honey Cuts.
Here are the colors I used to color both Foxy and the balloon in. A nice summery color combo!
After attaching Foxy and the balloon to my card front, I moved onto the sentiment. Hello Friend is from Foxy Sentiments Stamp Set and Happy Birthday is from the Hooray Stamp Set. To complete my card, I stamped and die-cut a few hearts from the Feelin’ Foxy Stamp Set and Honey Cuts.
Before I wrap this up for today, I thought I would do another quick run down of all the products I used on my card. That way they are all in one place and you don’t have to jump around .. 😉
