Hi everyone! Leanne here and I have switched from birthdays to baby’s this week.  I realized I had no baby cards in my stash. I was able to remedy that using adorable Heaven Sent stamp set.  I’ve used a color palette more suitable for a boy on today’s card, but this design could certainly be used for a girl by changing up the colors.

I started with an A2 sized card base. For the ombre’ backdrop, I applied a soft blue and green ink with a blending brush.  I find a brush results in a nice consistent and smooth blend on any type of card stock.  I stamped and Copic colored the bunny, stars and accessory images from Heaven Sent.  I wanted the top half of the card to be filled with clouds.  I die cut several clouds using a die from the Partly Coudy Honey Cuts. I stamped “welcome” and “sweet” onto two of the clouds. I then outlined all the clouds with some White Blizzard Nuvo Glitter drops.

I used the Bee Bold Honey Cuts to die cut letters from light blue card stock to spell baby.  I stamped the gingham pattern using a stamp from the Bitty Patterns set.  I adhered the clouds to the top half of the card – some flat and some popped up.  I then used dimensional foam squares to adhere the “baby” and bunny.  Lastly for a little touch of embellishment, I added some tiny stars from the Twinkle, Twinkle confetti mix.
