Have Courage and Bee Kind
Hello and happy Thursday! Leanne here with you today. I’ve been wanting to play around with the Bee Bold Alphabet Honey Cuts. I love the size of the letters. They measure 1.5 inches tall… so they are perfect for making a bold statement on a card.
I used some of images in the Birds and the Bees stamp set to create the focal point of my card. I stamped and colored two branch images as well as the bee hive, flowers, and tiny bees. I cut them out using the coordinating Birds and the Bees Honey Cuts. I used the cloud border stencil from the Outdoor Scene Builder Stencil set to create a sky backdrop for my branches and bee hive scene.
I wanted to make a bigger than average sized card to accommodate the scene along with the large lettering. This card measures 4 inches wide by 8.5 inched tall. I used the Be Bold Alphabet Honey Cuts and some kraft card stock to spell out the words “BEE KIND”. Before placing the letters, I used some Distress Oxide ink in Squeezed Lemonade to lightly color the background of the top and bottom of the card. The letters and all the images were adhered with foam tape.
On the inside of the card I stamped a custom sentiment using the Bee-You-Tiful Sentiments. The words are all in this stamp set except I needed to mask off the “ous” part of the word courageous. Lastly I added one tiny bee and trail right underneath the stamped sentiment.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you all have a wonderful day!
