Hello friends. Bobbi here sharing an “over the top” kind of card featuring new products by Honey Bee Stamps. This is a fun card because it includes a few dreamy, “creamy” items from the “Celebrate” 9th birthday release. No one loves ice cream as much as me, so this card got a few scoops of some of my favorite flavors! I’m using the following Honey Bee Stamps products:

Let’s Party Paper Pad 6 X 8.5″

The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

To make this yummy birthday card, I used the Lovely Layers: Cupcakes and More Honey Cuts dies to create the triple-scoop sundae, cupcake and ice cream cone. I cut all the layers out of white cardstock with the exception of the cupcake liner. I used Distress Oxide Inks in Tumbled Glass (sundae dish), Kitsch Flamingo (ice cream cone flavor), Salvaged Patina (cupcake frosting), Cracked Pistachio (ice cream flavor) and Antique linen (ice cream cone) to color the elements using my blender brushes. For the rest of the dreamy flavors, I used Copic Sketch Markers. For example, the caramel swirl scoop was created using E50, E51, E53, E55, E47. I enhanced all of the flavors with coordinating Copic markers to create more depth. The layers were assembled to create these delicious treats. A cherry on top, two candles and some sprinkles complete the treats.

For the background of this 5″ X 7″ card, I used pattern papers from the Let’s Party Paper Pad 6 X 8.5″. Because the Honey Bee pads, are large sized, they cover a full 5″ X 7″ front panel. I love that! I used the striped pattern to create a “base” for my sweet treats to rest on. I added a little stitching at the bottom for an accent. The treats were attached using Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab.

The final touch was adding the phrase in the upper right corner. The cute sentiment is from the You’re so Extra stamp set and coordinating Honey Cuts dies. It’s the perfect saying for an “over the top” kind of card!
