Happy Tuesday, crafty friends!! Brenda here with you today!! I’m sharing a card featuring the adorable Lovely Layers: Alice’s Gingerbread Lane Honey Cuts!! This set is near and dear to our hearts here at Honey Bee!! It is named after Lisa’s late Aunt Alice, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation!! How cool is that?!?
I started by die-cutting all the pieces from the Lovely Layers: Alices Gingerbread Die Set from mustard yellow, brown and white cardstock. I chose Copic markers that matched the multi-colored polka-dot pattern paper in the Gingerbread Village Paper Pad to add color to all of the die-cuts. All the die-cuts were assembled and adhered together using Bee Creative Glue.
Next, I die-cut the polka-dot pattern paper in the Gingerbread Village Paper Pad with the largest die in the Scallop A2 Card Frames Die Set and adhered it to a panel of aqua cardstock that was die-cut with the largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Dies. The pink polka-dot paper is also from the same paper pad. It was die-cut with the second largest die in the Stacking Art Deco Labels Die Set and adhered to a piece of red cardstock that was cut with the largest die in the same set. I also die-cut white cardstock with the second largest die and cut the top by hand to create the snow for the ground. All of the die-cuts were arranged and adhered to the background with Bee Creative Glue.
The sentiment is from the Sprinkled with Joy Stamp Set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with a mustard yellow colored ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die, along with three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock. They were stacked and adhered together with Bee Creative Glue, then added to the bottom of the card. A white gel pen was used to add highlights and a silver gel pen adds a metallic sparkle to the wheels on the car. I added Star Dust Stickles to the snow and clouds and Glossy Accents to the chocolate, car windows and wheels to finish off the card. I just love these little touches!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! I’m working on another card using the Lovely Layers: Alice’s Gingerbread Lane to share next week featuring one of the other houses in the set!!
Have a great week!!
