Morning, Honey Bee friends! Melissa B here with you today. Have I mentioned how much I love the Sweet Honey Cuts? I’m pretty sure I have and you may have noticed how much I have been using them lately. I promise that after today I’ll share projects without them (for a few days anyway 😉 , but for today I have mixed it with the new Pinky (Paper Piecing) Honey Cuts to create a sweet birthday card! I love, love, love these paper piecing images that Honey Bee has released.
I started with a white card base and die-cut a circle out of the center, using the Double Stitched Circle Honey Cuts. On the inside of my card, behind the die-cut circle, I attached a piece of patterned paper that I had leftover from another project. Inside of the circle I tucked in a couple of strips of grass, from the Grass Border Honey Cuts. After die-cutting and assembling Pinky, I tucked her inside the grass as well, and then attached a flower and cupcake that I had colored in from the Pinky the Pig Stamp Set. The clouds are from the Heaven Sent Stamp Set and Honey Cuts.
I hope you enjoyed and hope your Monday is a happy one. Thanks for visiting!
