Hi there friends!
Today I have a super simple card that would be perfect for Valentine’s Day. It would be a great masculine card;)
I’m sorry that I don’t have a video to share with you this time. My family and I are on vacation, so I will have new videos for you in February!
This card was super easy, but still has a lot of texture and interest. I first used the Stipple Plate die to create the “cube” background. I did this by first running the paper and die through my die machine and then flipping the paper around and running it through again. The first time it through creates embossed hexagons. The second pass creates a cube looking design (seen better in the next photo). I added a bit of color using Broken China Distress Ink. You could also keep it simple and white.
The potted cactus was created using the Stick With Me Stamp Set and coordinating dies. I did some basic Copic coloring. The greeting was stamped onto white card stock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. All of the sentiments in the Prickly Sentiments stamp set are perfect to go with the cacti, and could also work well with many florals.
Thanks for stopping by today!
