Hello, crafty friends!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! Brenda here with a halloween card featuring the absolutely adorable Lovely Layers: Scaredy Cat Honey Cuts!!
I began by die-cutting all the elements for the pumpkin, cat, bat and spider from orange, dark gray, aqua, pink, metallic gold and green cardstock using the Lovely Layers: Scaredy Cat Die Set. I added shading with dye inks and Beeluxe Blending Brushes, then adhered all the pieces together with Bee Creative Glue. I used a white gel pen to add in some details and highlights.
For the background, I embossed a panel of white cardstock with the Tangled Web 3D Embossing Folder. I added a bit of shading with Speckled Egg Distress Ink and a blender brush. The panel was trimmed slightly and adhered to an A2 panel of plaid cardstock from the Fall Is In The Air Paper Pad with Bee Creative Glue.
The sentiment, from the Sweet Halloween Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with orange dye ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up with foam tape for dimension. A trio of light blue gems from the Sweet and Spooky Gem Sticker Pack placed around the sentiment finishes off the card.
