Hey there, Honey Bee friends! Melissa B here today sharing a card created using the adorable Happy Mail stamp set. I just love the little envelope and thought I’d do something a bit different with it today.
Did you know that there is now a die set available to coordinate with this set? I did not have it at the time I created this card, so these envelopes were cut out by hand. Pretty simple to cut out due to their simple rectangle shape.
After cutting them all out, I picked one envelope and cut the top flap portion of it out, like you see in the photo above. Next, I trimmed a piece of white card-stock so it would fit just behind the bottom portion of the envelope, but cutting it just a bit taller than the envelope so I could attach the top flap. And because I didn’t have the die set when I created this, I used a heart die from another set I had on hand.
And here is my card with all of those colorful envelopes adhered to the front. I also die cut a ‘Smile‘ using the Smile die, because you can’t send out happy mail without a smile. 🙂
So glad you stopped by to visit with us today. I hope you enjoyed and hope your day is a happy one!
