Happy Hello Hexagons
Hey, friends! I hope your weekend was a wonderful one and that you were able to sneak away for a little creative time. My basement studio was flooded a couple of weeks ago, so since then I have been crafting in my dining area. I spent part of my weekend reorganizing everything and trying to find a place for all of my crafty supplies. I had to pack a lot of it away, but have kept all of my important essentials handy. I’m one of those crafters who works much better and feels more inspired when her space is neat and tidy and everything is in place. 🙂 How about you?
Today, I have a card for you that has a retro feel and was super quick and easy to create. Every once and awhile it’s really nice to create a card using mostly dies and minimal stamping. The Hexagon Solid Stack Honey Cuts were perfect for what I wanted to create for today.
I used the three smallest hexagons and die-cut them using a variety of colorful cardstock. Using a solid white card-base, I created a pattern and attached them to the front of my card. For my sentiment, I die-cut ‘happy’ using the Happy Honey Cuts and stamped ‘HELLO’ from Simple Sentiments. That was stamped on black cardstock and then popped up with a bit of dimensional foam. I completed it by adding colorful sequins!
I hope you enjoyed my card for today. Thanks so much for stopping in to visit with us!
Have a happy Monday!
