Happy Fall

Good Monday morning to you, Honey Bee friends! It’s Melissa B here with you to kick off another week of Honey Bee inspiration. Fall is certainly in the air in my neck of the woods. The leaves are changing and the air is getting crisp … I just love this time of year in New England.

My card for today features the beautiful Happy Fall Ya’ll set.

I love the images in this set. I always love a good floral set, especially when they are big and bold. I started by stamping the stems, leaves and sunflowers onto a piece of white cardstock, measuring 4 x 5.25″. Next, using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers, I colored all of my images in. The colors I used are in the photo below. After they were colored, I attached my card panel to my hot pink card base. I die cut the centers of my flowers out of black cardstock and then, using my white gel pen, made polka dots. For my sentiment I stamped ‘Happy’ on a piece of white cardstock and then completed it by die-cutting the word ‘Fall’ out of bright yellow cardstock. I attached that with dimensional foam and then added a few clear sequins for the final touch!
