Hello Honey Bee friends! Brenda here with a card that was inspired by Jennifer McGuire! I saw the see-through cards that she did recently and thought the Stitched Flowers Honey Cuts would be perfect for this technique!!

I began by die-cutting the Stitched Flowers Honey Cuts several times from yellow, white, brown & green cardstock and adhered the centers to the flowers. I adhered all of the flowers together, overlapping to form the card front. I also adhered the identical flowers to the inside of the card, so it looks clean from the inside. (Jennifer has a great video showing this technique, if you haven’t seen it.) I white heat embossed “happy”, from the Happy Birthday stamp set onto a strip of teal paper. “Birthday” was cut three times from the same teal cardstock and once from vellum with the Happy Birthday Honey Cuts. I cut and scored a teal cardbase, flipped it upside-down and adhered the back of it to the inside of the white cardbase. That way the teal shows through the front of the card and the inside of my card is also teal.

I LOVE how this turned out and I’m currently looking for more dies to use with this technique!!

Thanks for stopping by!

I’ll see you next Tuesday!!
