Happy Tuesday everyone!! It finally looks like spring may be arriving this week in the Midwest!! The sun is out and the birds are chirping!! Yay!!

I’m trying to stock up my supply of birthday cards. March & April are busy, busy in our family, as far as birthdays go. My hubby’s, mother-in-law’s, father-in-law’s and sister-in-law’s birthdays all fall within a four week period. Three of those are in the same week!! Yikes!!

I created a springy birthday card using the Birds and the Bees stamp set and Coordinating Honey Cuts. If you follow me at all, you know I love a punny sentiment and the Hi Honey stamp set and Hi Honey Coordinating Honey Cuts certainly deliver!!

I began by stamping the branch & hive, along with several bees and flowers, from the Birds and the Bees stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black Ink onto Bristol paper. I colored all of the images with Zig Clean Color Markers and a blender marker, then cut them all out with the Coordinating Honey Cut Dies. I die-cut the sentiment using the Hi Honey Coordinating Dies from black and yellow cardstock. For the background panel, the largest of the Deckle Edge A2 Honey Cuts was cut from another piece of Bristol paper. The cloud stencil from the Outdoor Scene Builders pack was used with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink applied with a blending brush. All of the images were adhered with foam adhesive as shown and the excess was trimmed away from the edges. The completed panel was adhered to an A2 size panel of black cardstock. A few dots with a yellow gel pen add a little dimension to the flowers and that’s it!!

That’s it for me today!! I hope I have inspired you for any spring birthdays you may have coming up!!
