Hi friends! It’s summer and time to “hang ten”… on the clothesline! I’ve got ten cute items that just needed to be displayed on this summer clothesline. 🙂 I’m using the following sets by Honey Bee Stamps from its latest release, “Sunkissed Summer:”

Lovely Layers: Packed Suitcase Honey Cut dies

Lovely Layers: At the Beach Honey Cut dies

Netting A2 Cover Plate Honey Cut die

Rest and Relaxation stamp set

The featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

To make this card, I die cut the netting using the Netting A2 Cover Plate Honey Cut die and shaded the edges using Distress Oxide Ink in Antique Linen. I attached it to an A7 white card base to create the background.

Next, I die cut the clothing and accessory items from the Lovely Layers: Packed Suitcase Honey Cut dies and the Lovely Layers: At the Beach Honey Cut dies. I colored the items using reds, yellows and blues and attached them to a blue and white baker’s twine clothesline. Some of the clothes got a few snips here and there to make the bikini top, bottoms, and midriff top! Be a creative fashionista and designer with your scissors! I used foam tabs behind the umbrella and the blue swimsuit to make them stand out a bit. My white gel pen was useful for coloring in the dots to make it an itsy, bitsy, polka dotted bikini!

I stamped the “Let’s hang ten” sentiment from the Rest and Relaxation stamp set in the lower right corner. Lastly, I used Old Glory Pearl Stickers to accent the apparel and accessories.
