Hello everyone! AmyR here with Prairie Paper & Ink, and today I made a Halloween-themed card combining some older Honey Bee Stamp sets with newer Honey Cuts die sets and a stencil.
I used Honey Bee’s Little Pickup stamp set, and stamped the truck, pile of pumpkins and single pumpkin stamp onto Distress watercolor paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder. I then did some quick and easy watercoloring with my Arteza Real Brush pens and a water brush before letting them dry and die cutting them with the coordinating Honey Cuts dies.
I used the ray stencil from the Ocean Scene stencil set on my card base, and stamped a sentiment from the Hey, Pumpkin! stamp set onto the card base as well.
The large Happy was created with the new Bee Bold Alphabet Honey Cuts dies – I die cut them from orange card stock and sponged them with the same Distress Ink (Carved Pumpkin in color of course) as I used on the stencil.
To finish off the inside of the card I stamped a sentiment I created with stamps from the Hey, Pumpkin! stamp set and added a couple more of the single pumpkins from the Little Pickup stamp set and that was it!
To see how this card came together check out my video below. All the supplies I used are linked at the end of the post!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful week!
