The first thing I did was cut the three layered Hexagon Background pieces out of white card stock. I adhered the three together with liquid adhesive and then added them to a top folding card base.
Using Lucky Clover, Cracked Pistachio, and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks, I blended color onto watercolor paper. I spritzed the paper with water and let sit for a few seconds so the oxide process could take place. Using a paper towel, I blotted up the excess droplets. Next, I used the heart accessory from the Penny the Platypus coordinating die set to cut the leaves for my clover. I also cut the Large Thanks from the oxide background and the shadow from white card stock.
I gently folded the little hearts and adhered them to the background with liquid adhesive. Using coordinating twine, I made a double looped bow and left a long tail for the stem of the clover. The teal colored dew drop is from the October Sky Dew Drop Mix. I added it to the center conceal the points of the heart and white background . Using liquid adhesive, I added the Thanks greeting and was sure to tuck in the end of the twine.
