Hello everyone! I have a fun pocket shaker card to share today that was inspired by a new confetti mix in the Honey Bee shop called Twinkle, Twinkle. This confetti mix is a combination of iridescent and silver tiny stars and it’s just so pretty I couldn’t wait to use it.
To make the shaker part, I started with a 4.25 x 5.5 inch panel of Bristol Smooth card stock. I blend on some Mermaid Lagoon and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide Inks over the entire panel. I then splattered the panel with clean water and thinned ink to give a more distressed look. I slipped the dry panel into a stamp storage pocket and added a generous amount of star confetti. I folded the open end of the pocket over to the back and secured with strong adhesive like Scor-Tape.
I white heat embossed a sentiment from the Friendship stamp set onto a strip of vellum. I added this to the shaker pocket by wrapping the sides of the vellum strip to the back and adhering. I used the Stacking Stars Honey Cuts to die cut a few stars from white glitter paper and then adhered with glue dots to the front of the pocket. Lastly I adhered the finished shaker panel to an A2 card base with Scor-Tape.
