Hello, Honey Bee friends and happy Tuesday!! Brenda here with a card featuring some of the travel goodies from the latest Sunkissed Summer Release!!
I began by stenciling the stencil with the smallest planes from the Air Traffic Stencil Set onto a panel of pale aqua cardstock using pearl white stencil butter. I set it aside to dry, then began die-cutting the elements for the focal point of my card.
The Lovely Layers: Globe Honey Cuts were die-cut from aqua, red and frosted silver cardstock. I added a bit of shading around the globe with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and a Beeluxe Blending Brush. I added Bee Creative White Pigment Ink onto the signs with my finger so that the words on the signs were more visable, then adhered all the die-cuts together with Bee Creative Glue.
A panel of red cardstock was embossed with the Air Mail 3D Embossing Folder, then trimmed slighlty smaller than A2 and adhered to a white A2 card base. The Air Traffic stenciled background was die-cut with a die from the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set and adhered to the background with Bee Creative Glue. The globe, hearts, sign and plane die-cuts were adhered, also using Bee Creative Glue.
The sentiment, from the Plane Awesome Stamp Set, was stamped onto red cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The Coordinating Die was used to cut it out and it was popped up with foam adhesive to finish off the card.
I love how this turned out!! And how true is that sentiment?!?
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you next Tuesday!!
