Hi everyone! It’s Kimberly here today with a fun way to use some of the tiny stamps in your stamp sets! I began by using my Scan n Cut to cut a heart out of the center of a 4.25 x 5.5 card front. I traced the heart lightly onto my 4.25 x 5.5 top folding card base. I wanted to use some pretty patterned paper that was sitting on my desk, but I really needed some on an aqua background to pull everything together. What do you do when you don’t have what you need? You make it yourself, of course! I stamped the cute sequins from the Beautiful Life stamp set from Honey Bee in a dark aqua ink onto some light aqua cardstock.
Once I had all the papers I wanted to use together, I cut them into strips of random widths. I covered my traced heart with adhesive and started adhering the strips going diagonally across the heart. When I was all done, I adhered the die cut card front to my card base with foam adhesive. I stamped ‘You Are’ directly onto the card base in black ink and ‘Fabulous’ onto vellum with Versamark which was then heat embossed with black glitter EP. I fussy cut the sentiment and adhered it to the card base. Of course with the sequin paper I had to add some real ones to the card as well! 😉
Enjoy your weekend, Honey Bee fans! I’ll see you again next week!
