Hello crafty bees! Happy Friday!
The past month has been crazy! With the Kickstarter campaign, it seemed as though my simple idea was transformed almost overnight to a success! Now that I’ve had a moment to step back and take it all in–and with my first collection of stamps in production–I am ready to get the word out!
So… I am super excited to announce that I am launching the Honey Bee Scraps Design Team! Interested crafters, please read this post for details on how to submit your work for consideration. This Design Team Call is open to both US and International applications!
Please submit photos of a minimum of 4 hand-stamped projects (maximum of 8) to firstname.lastname@example.org. Or, you may send me a link to a private photo feed or Dropbox link with photos of your submissions. Deadline is April 9th at 3pm PST. Please include a short bio about yourself as well.
Within your bio, please tell me a little about your crafting experience, any previous or current design team experience you may have (previous experience is not necessary, but I would like to know about any other teams you are involved with). If you have a crafting blog, YouTube channel, or a Facebook page specifically for crafting, please include a link.
Submissions should include a variation of paper-crafting techniques that you feel best represent you as an artist. Please showcase any special artistic abilities you have (IE: hand coloring, watercolor techniques, embossing, sewing on cards, etc.). I am looking for a range of abilities and styles, so be yourself! (Note: I am most interested in showcasing Project Life cards and greeting cards, which will appeal to the majority of my customer base).
Design Team Requirements:
Expect to create 3 to 4 unique projects per month (approximately one per week), along with high quality/high-res photos that I can use in weekly blog posts, on my website, (HoneyBeeScraps.com), and Facebook page (facebook.com/HoneyBeeScraps).
Design team members will also help publicize the Honey Bee product line by placing projects on your own blog, YouTube Channel, Pinterest, Instagram, and/or Facebook feeds. I’ll suggest specific hashtags and provide links to the Honey Bee website and Facebook site. These details will be laid-out to finalists for consideration before joining the team.
As a design team member, you will receive one new stamp set each month while you are an active design team member. (Initially, design team projects will be handled on a month-to-month basis.) Design Team members who are showcasing their works with Honey Bee products, links and references may have the chance to earn commissions on their referrals which will be tracked through my website metrics. (Details will be worked out between Design Team members and myself, on a case-by-case basis).
Additionally – for Design Team members who are interested, I’m open to viewing any artwork you have created (doodles, drawings, handwritten words/brush script, etc.) to create a collaborative stamp set as a guest stamp designer! This would include getting paid for your designs in royalties. More details on that to come!
Now is the time! If you are interested, I encourage you to submit your work to me today! I am so excited to grow this team and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Honey Bee Scraps. There are some very exciting things on the horizon for us – so keep an eye out for more details to come! Please visit my website and follow my blog to watch for further details as this project progresses. www.HoneyBeeScraps.com (sign up on the bottom-right of the page by entering your email address under “Follow My Blog”. If you will be applying for a Design Team spot, please make sure you sign up for my blog so you can get updates on choosing the finalists!)
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
