Hello happy crafters and card makers. Today I am here to share a fun watercolor technique I learned while taking a class with the Waffle Flower team at Creativation!

To achieve this soft water color floral background I scribbled ink from some Zig Art & Graphic Twin markers onto my Water Media mat. ( I will talk about this amazing mat at the end of my blog post. )  I spritzed the ink with water and then stamped a few Spring Blossoms from Honey Bee stamps.  The paper I used is smooth Bristol and I did not wet my paper first.

After stamping out my blooms I picked up some color with my water brush pen and colored in the blooms is a messy water color fashion.

I did the same thing with some pretty greens for the leaves on my card.

I took a long cotton swap and dipped into the paint to add a few dots as an accent. I also paint flicked a few splatters across my card.

I just love adding a few little bees for embellishment, so I stamped out a few from this Bee Hive stamp set and then die cut them to add to my finished card.  I always color the wings with a clear star jelly roll pen for some Sparkle.

I stamped the sentiment using the HBS Friendship sentiment set This stamp set is the perfect addition to your card making collection.  So many wonderful sentiments to add to your cards.

To complete my card I layered some pretty papers and foam mounted the card panel for some dimension.
