Good morning! Emily here with you today to share a sweet little card made using this fantastic new die set from our latest release: Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder!
Now, at first glance, this die might not look like much; it might even look a little confusing. But, once you put it together….
It becomes the cutest little gift card holder ever! To create this project, I started by die cutting the largest die, the coffee cup shape itself, from plain white card stock. I die cut the lid and the coffee cozy from cherry red card stock. To add some interest to the cup itself, I randomly stamped the teeny tiny snowflakes and heart from Let It Snow using red ink. I also very lightly blended a bit of pale gray ink around the edges of the cup to add a touch of depth.
On the coffee cozy, I added the totally appropriate sentiment (also from Let It Snow) in white embossing powder so it would really stand out. After everything is folded and adhered together (I personally prefer Scor Tape, because it dries instantly and the hold is super strong), you can easily slide the coffee cozy over the bottom of the cup and create this darling little holder…. perfect for the holidays! We have a delicious coffee shop in our tiny town, so I’m thinking of making a little gift basket for my kiddos’ preschool teachers, complete with gift cards to our coffee shop in these adorable holders!
Well, that’s all for me today! I love the innovative dies from Honey Bee, so I hope you enjoyed seeing the finished product with the Coffee Cup Gift Card Holder die! Have a fantastic Friday!
