Hello, Honey Bees!! The latest release, Let’s Celebrate, went live last night and is available in the shop now!!! Such an amazing release to celebrate the 6th birthday of Honey Bee!! So, I figured what better way to celebrate than to make a birthday card!?!

I began by stamping the images from the Fancy Frosting Stamp Set onto white cardstock with the new Honey Bee Intense Black Ink. After coloring them with Copics, I cut them out with the Coordinating Honey Cuts and added some highlights with a white gel pen.

I trimmed a sheet of the confetti paper from the Funfetti Paper Pad slightly and adhered it to another a striped patterned paper from the same paper pad. I adhered the cake together with Bee Creative Liquid Adhesive, then popped it and the balloons up with foam adhesive.

The Fancy Frosting set can be personalized for a birthday, wedding, anniversary…just about any occasion!! It also works for those hard to make masculine cards and kids!!

If you’re like me and never know what to add to the inside of your cards, worry no more!!

The Inside: Birthday Sentiment Set contains several phrases to help you convey the perfect, heartfelt message. I stamped one of them onto white cardstock (I thought the cake sentiment went perfectly with the front of the card) with Intense Black Ink, then die-cut it with the Coordinating Honey Cuts. Then I adhered it to the inside of my card with Bee Creative Glue. I didn’t have to worry about stamping the inside wrong or crooked and ruining my card…how great is that?!? I also added a thin strip of patterned paper to carry a little color through to the inside. There is also an Inside: Snarky Sentiments Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies, if you want to add a little sass and snark to the inside of your cards!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Be sure to check out the rest of the Let’s Celebrate Release!! SO. MUCH. GOOD. STUFF!!!

Have a great week and I’ll see you next Tuesday!!

Brenda

Can you tell me what color cardstocks match the funfetti 6×6. I like to mat with coordinating solid colors, not just black and white. Thank you
