Hi there, everyone! Kimberly from Kimplete Kreativity here with you today to share a pretty card using flowers from the Sweet As Honey stamp set! Sadly, today is my last post, so before I tell you how I made this card, I’d like to say thanks to Melissa for allowing me to a part of the HoneyBee team – it’s been a blast!
I began by stamping and coloring my flowers & leaves with Copic markers. I fussy cut them out and set them aside.
I chose grey for my card base, but it was a little too harsh – so I ended up covering the grey with some vellum to give it a softer look. I covered the vellum with a pretty hexagon patterned cover plate die. I adhered the flowers and leaves, some on dimensional adhesive, running up the side of the card. I stamped part of the sentiment (from Flakey Friends) on a piece of patterned paper and cut it into a banner and adhered it to the opposite side of the card. The ‘fabulous’ word, from Beautiful Life, was stamped and embossed with glitter EP onto vellum, then attached to the card. I love how elegant and pretty this card turned out!
Hope you’ve enjoyed my card today, Honey Bee fans. It’s been so much fun sharing with all of you – take care!
