Happy Monday! I’m not sure about where you live, but the weather is starting to look nicer here in upstate NY and the promise of going for walks outside, trips to the playground, and grilling dinners again is in the air! If you recall from my post a few weeks ago I said I’d follow up with my Project Life style layout of my little Evie with her first ever box of chocolates using the cards I created during my online crop with PLCS group on Facebook. Well here it is!
This came together so nicely using the cards I created during the crop and a few more I made to fill in the blanks after I got my photos printed. As I mentioned before, all these cards were created using coordinating patterned paper from a 6×6 paper pad, a sheet of cardstock stickers, a bit of twine, and some sparkly adhesive dot accents–as well as my Honey Bee Stamps! I used Cherish, Brush Grunge Alpha, and Oh, Snap! sets to accent my cards.
I used “Cherish” for this card, as well as the little heart cluster stamp from “Oh, Snap!”
This card was created with the sentiment, heart cluster, and cute camera stamp from “Oh, Snap!”–for this one I created faux flair by stamping the camera, punching the circle with a 1″ punch and adhering an epoxy circle sticker on top (typically also used for bottle cap jewelry).
My title card was created with one of my favorite and most versatile Honey Bee sets: Brush Grunge Alpha. I stamped right onto the patterned paper and held my breath that I’d like how I spaced everything out–but that’s the beauty of these clear stamps–and the quality is amazing–I even double stamped each letter to make the color of the brown ink a little darker. I was able to pretty easily keep all my letters lined up and judge my spacing well. The heart accents are once again stamped from the “Oh, Snap!” set.
I love how this layout and the photos came together to capture such a fun memory for our little family. Disclaimer: Although I am not the healthiest eater myself, I’m much more conservative about what I let Evie eat, and this box of chocolates was certainly a treat. She actually ate about 2 pieces before I put it all away–and Daddy ended up eating the rest (haha, better him than me!). I just don’t want anyone to think I let my almost two year old go to town with a whole box of chocolates, haha. It was all for the cause of the fun photos! You know how that goes!
Enjoy your day, and get those photos printed and those cute cards made with your Honey Bee Stamps!
