Hello friends. It’s Bobbi here with a pet sympathy card. I’m using products from Honey Bee Stamp’s new Pet-tastic release. I’m using the following products:
Lovely Layers: Small Dogs Honey Cuts dies
Lovely Layers: Dog Beds Honey Cuts dies
Paw Prints 3D Embossing Folder
FREE BEE pattern paper pack – It’s automatically added to your order of $100 or more (while supplies last.)
For the basics… my featured project below is made from Neenah 80lb Solar White cardstock for the card base and card front panel. All of the black ink stamping was done using Honey Bee’s Bee Creative Intense Black Ink. I use Honey Bee Stamps Bee Creative Precision Glue and for when I want more dimension, Bee Creative Foam Dots With Tab for adhering my elements together. My blender brushes (large and small) are a must for ink blending color on the background, too. For white highlights, I use my white Gelly Roll pen. My card is 5″ X 7″ in size.

To make this 5″ X 7″ card, I die cut the dog and the dog bed elements from white and rose cardstock and some pink gingham pattern paper from the Happy Hearts paper pad. I assembled the layers to make this sweet little dog and decked out tent dog bed.
I embossed a 5″ X 7″ piece of white cardstock using the Paw Prints 3D Embossing Folder. Using my larger Blender Brush, I blended Ranger Kitsch Flamingo ink over the raised paw prints to make the embossed design stand out. Using a circular die, I added a “half-moon” shape to the embossed section to represent a nod to the “rainbow bridge” for animals. I used a fine-tip black marker to add stitches to the perimeter of the circular shape. I also added a strip of black cardstock and another strip of pattern paper from the FREE BEE pattern paper pad. (The free pad is added to orders over $100 automatically, while supplies last.) I added a 1/8″ strip of rose to cover the strip seam, too.

I attached the dog and dog tent bed to the circular shape. I cut out a few dog item designs from a pattern paper in the FREE Bee paper pack, and three Strawberry Ice Acrylic Hearts, and attached them around the dog. I also die cut the bone and dog food dish and attached them in the “floor area” black strip. Lastly, I attached the sentiment using the Pet-tastic stamp set and the coordinating dies.
