Hello there! Leanne here and I have a fun birthday card to share today.  I wanted to use the Cupcake Builder Honey Cuts to create my focal point image for this card because who doesn’t love cupcakes?!? …and the best part is that the paper and ink kind are calorie free, lol!

I started with a white A2 size card base.  I trimmed a panel of colorful pattern paper slightly smaller than A2 size and added to the card front.  I then layered a scalloped panel over top that I die cut using the Scallop A2 Card Frames Honey Cuts.  I added the cupcake to the left side of the panel with 3D foam squares.  I created a custom sentiment using stamps from the Enjoy set.  I placed the stamps in my Misti in a staggered vertical arrangement and stamped with dark gray ink.  I then die cut the word “enjoy” from an ink blended piece of card stock using the Enjoy Honey Cuts.  This completes the sentiment.

I thought the card needed a few extra elements to jazz it up a bit so I created some tiny flowers using dies from the Bunch of Bouquets Honey Cuts.  I added sparkle to the cupcake frosting using Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard.  And to finish it off, I added some Clear Iris sequins scattered randomly around the card.
