Hi there! Emily Midgett here with you today sharing some inspiration using the new Ramblin’ Man release! This release is jam-packed full of products sure to help you jump start your Father’s Day (and other masculine) cardmaking! From guitars to classic cars, there’s a little something for everyone with these new stamps, so let’s get started with the details on my card! I love the show Supernatural (those boys are just too pretty, and funny, to boot!), and on the show the Winchesters drive a glossy black 1967 Chevy Impala with an engine that sounds fast and mean and oh, so masculine.  As soon as I saw the new Car Show stamp set, I knew I had to try to color my own glossy black Impala!

I began by stamping the classic car from Car Show on some white card stock using Copic-friendly black ink, then used black and very dark gray Copic markers to color it in. I’ve never colored something with this much shine before, but this is definitely something I would like to practice more! Getting those highlights right is on my list of things to learn haha!

Next, I stamped a greeting from You’re a Classic on some more white card stock and die cut the sentiments using the coordinating dies. To help ground the automotive die cuts, I die cut a Stitched Oval from some black card stock and added it to a black and white panel from the Bee’s Knees 6×6 paper pad.

After adhering all of the die cuts to the card front using foam tape, I added a few black enamel dots from the Back to Basics Enamel Dots set. Black and white are perfect for a masculine card, no?

Well, that’s all for my project today! I hope you’ve been enjoying the inspiration using the new Ramblin’ Man products. To that end, we have an Instagram Hop happening over on the Honey Bee Stamps Instagram feed with tons and tons of inspiration using the new products. I hope you’ll check it out! Thanks so much for stopping by today, and have a marvelous weekend!
