Hello everyone! AmyR here from Prairie Paper & Ink with a card using HoneyBee’s new Crayon Box Honey Cuts Dies from the Autumn Blessings Release!

Now this is technically an “XL” wafer die and as such it’s meant to be used in a large die cutting machine like the Spellbinders Platinum or the Gemini as it’s too big for a standard machine.

BUT – with just the slightest positioning the large die fits in my Spellbinders Platinum 6! I show how in the video below.

I used a variety of bright card stock scraps from my stash to die cut all the crayons using dies from the Crayon Box set, and then added a bit of shading and color to the “wax” portion with Copic markers just to give them a bit more definition.

To create the sentiment on the “box” or pouch portion I die cut red card stock with one of Honey Bee’s Double Stitched Polygons Honey Cuts dies. After snipping apart a sentiment from the Brilliant Day stamp set I white heat embossed it onto the polygon die cut.

The COLOR die cut is from the Crayon Box Honey Cuts die set and was adhered and then coated with Nuvo Crystal Glaze to give it a glossy shine.

I made the crayon insert into a folding card, and on the inside I added another heat embossed and die cut sentiment from the Brilliant Day set and that finished it off.

To see how this card came together check out my video below:

Thanks so much for stopping by! All the supplies I used are listed and linked below!
