Hello Everyone!!

AmyR here from Prairie Paper & Ink with my monthly HoneyBee video (a little later than usual – Honey Bee had their fabulous 12 Days of Christmas posts that if you missed you can check them out starting with Day 12 HERE). I’m still wanting to make Christmas and winter-themed cards, and if I can incorporate anything coffee-themed while I’m at it I consider that a win-win in my books LOL!

Also if you didn’t see Carly’s post and video from earlier today you should check it out! Also coffee themed and SO pretty! See her post HERE <—–click!

I pulled out Honey Bee’s Winter Wonder Background Stencils to create my scene for my card. I’d only used the snowfall stencils in the set previous to this and really wanted to create an actual scene using the stencils – and I gotta say they made this background come together REALLY quick and easy.

I used Distress Inks with the stencils and a blending brush, then used white pigment ink over the larger snowfall stencil and white gouache over the smaller snowfall stencil.

Of course where would I be without Honey Bee’s Coffee Break stamp set and Perfect Blend Sentiment set? I used those to create my main elements, and nestled the cups in the “snow” that were created with white glitter card stock and Honey Bee’s Hill Borders Honey Cuts Dies.

I finished off the inside of the card with more sentiments from the Perfect Blend stamp set. I added green card stock that I die cut with Honey Bee’s Scallop A2 wafer die and one of the Gift Card Slots wafer dies to hold a (what else? lol) Starbucks gift card and that was it!

To see how my card came together check out my video below:

Thanks so much for stopping by! All the supplies I used are listed and linked below:
