Hi there and welcome back to the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!
I’ve created an ALL die cut card to share with you today, using only the new Merry Christmas Honey Cuts Dies.
I’ve attached a video tutorial below. If you’d rather watch on the HBS YouTube Channel, please click HERE! All of the supplies used in the video are listed in the supply list at the bottom of this post.
Thanks for watching! Make sure you subscribe to the Honey Bee Stamps YouTube Channel. There you will find lots of inspirational video tutorials!
The first thing I did for this card was lots and lots of die cutting. I cut the holly leaf about 20 times each in 3 different shades of green for an ombre look. The black panel was trimmed to 5 x 3.75 inches. I ran it through my die machine in an embossing folder. You can use any design you have on hand. It’s just for a little extra texture. I penciled on a triangle shape to follow and began adding my holly leaves from the bottom up. I love that you could make any shape and design using your small dies….just one more way for us to stretch the use of our supplies!
Next up, the shadows for the words were cut out of vellum. The words that go on top…the scripty Christmas and Merry are cut in coordinating red card stock. I added a bit of shimmer to the Christmas Tree panel using Shimmer Spritz. The patterned paper was trimmed to 4 x 5.25 and adhered to a coordinating card base. To create the ornaments on the tree, I used tiny bits of Christmas Red Stickles!
